Throughout the workshop, we'll cover a wide range of essential topics, starting with the art of walking the catwalk. You'll learn the essential tips and techniques for mastering your walk, posture and grace, allowing you to confidently display your clothing and wow your audience.
Another vital component of your modeling career is establishing a compelling digital portfolio. We'll guide you through the process of creating a visually stunning portfolio that effectively highlights your unique attributes and showcases your versatility. This will include information on selecting the right photographers, coordinating photo shoots, and creating a cohesive and professional online presence.
Comp cards, also known as composite cards, play a crucial role in capturing the attention of potential clients and agencies. We'll provide you with valuable guidance on designing and presenting a captivating business card that effectively showcases your modeling potential.
In addition to technical skills, we'll explore the importance of facial expressions and body language in conveying emotion and communicating effectively with the camera and audience. Understanding how to convey different moods and expressions will greatly enhance your ability to spice up any photo shoot or runway experience.
Also, we will delve into the benefits of signing with a reputable modeling agency. You'll gain insight into the perks of agency representation, including access to exclusive opportunities, networking with industry professionals, and guidance for navigating the competitive modeling landscape.

Simon Diez is a professional photographer specializing in fine art and painterly portraiture. His work is inspired by the old masters of painting such as Rembrandt, Caravaggio, Rubens, Raphael and Goya, among others.
Simon is a passionate artist known for his lighting skills and techniques who believe in making things as simple as possible. A clear example of this is his favorite type of lighting, a simple but effective one-light setup that uses primarily an umbrella. He has shared his knowledge and kind of approach in four countries so far.
Simon's style is versatile, combine a classical painterly aesthetic with the finesse of modern portraiture offering a stylized, vintage and nostalgic vibe that invites the viewer to pause and appreciate what can be considered a contemporary classic masterpiece. -

Walace Style
MAKEUP ARTIST / FASHION DESIGNER
Walace Style is a highly skilled makeup artist with exceptional talents, making him the best in the Pacific Northwest. He has been a professional makeup artist since 2017, and his skills are unmatched in the industry.
Walace's makeup skills have earned him sponsorship from Jeffree Star, who is a renowned makeup artist and influencer. Additionally, Walace has won Jeffree Star's New Year's makeup competition two years in a row, demonstrating his expertise and talent in the field.
In addition to his makeup work, Walace is a professional model and coach with a unique style that draws inspiration from icons like Coco Rocha, Candice Swanepoel, and Raphaël Say. With his extensive knowledge of the industry, he has helped countless individuals advance their modeling careers.
Walace is also a renowned fashion designer known for his one-of-a-kind couture designs. Alena is highly trained and knowledgeable in various cutting and styling techniques, including precision cuts, layering, updos, and braiding. She has a keen eye for detail and is meticulous in her approach to hair styling, making sure that every strand is perfectly in place.

VanillaAíday Carter
FASHION MODEL
A 27 year old transgender model, & pageant queen. With her copious amount of knowledge on and off the runway, she has made herself one of the best models in the PNW. Since she was 18 years old, VanillaAíday has been spotted on numerous runways from WA-CA, such as LAFW/LASW produced by ArtHearts, along with LAFW at the astounding Peterson Car Museum in Southern California. Her remarkably memorable face and walk, have helped her make a mark as a professional model for the past year, but she has been an extremely decorated and well-known model in her industry for the past 9 years.
Some of her decorations are being published in several fashion magazines. You can see her in VOGUE MX, LA Times, Apparel News among many others. She is a force to be reckoned with and is more than just a trailblazer, she is an inspiration paving the way for today's younger generations in and out of her community.
VanillaAíday is also a current and reigning queen; she is our very own Miss North Seattle USA 2023, making history, running as the first African American transgendered woman to come from the state of Washington gracing the prestigious Miss USA pageantry stage.She was also recently named Africa Fashion Weeks “SuperModel of the Year 2023” and was even recently invited to walk in RoseCity Fashion Week in Portland, OR.
With all these incredible achievements, large amount of knowledge and diplomacy in the modeling industry added to her wonderfully free and expressive yet professional personality and attitude. It's no wonder why she is the most sought after model seen on runways across the PNW. -

Daunte Galindo
FASHION MODEL / ACTOR
Daunte Galindo, is a first generation American model, with a unique combination of modeling prowess, acting talent and business acumen that positions him as a rising star who has made a notable impact on the modeling and acting industry.
His journey began as a child, where he showcased his talents by modeling for K'nex and gracing the pages of toy catalogs. Daunte's passion led him to be signed with Seattle Talent and Mavrick Artists Agency, where he embarked on a transformative path of training in film, television, commercial print, and fashion modeling.
Daunte's versatile portfolio caught the attention of renowned companies such as Macy's, Calvin Klein, Yamaha, Microsoft, Google, and Amazon, resulting in captivating advertisements. Additionally, he has lent his modeling skills to companies promoting nightlife experiences, wines, film concepts, and Seattle tourism, showcasing his adaptability and range.
With a background in international business and marketing, Daunte's educational journey has served as a solid foundation, providing him with valuable insights and connections within the industry. His determination and talent were recognized at the International Model and Talent Association (IMTA) in Los Angeles 2022, where he was crowned Male Young Adult Actor of the Year and was first runner up for Male Jr Model of the Year. -

Diana Bozzo
ASSISTANT
Diana has been working closely with her well-known photographer husband Simon Diez for almost six years. She is a qualified photography assistant with valuable industry experience having participated in over five hundred photo shoots.
Throughout her career, Diana has honed her skills in posing for everyday people, understanding the importance of creating a relaxed and comfortable environment that allows her subjects to express themselves authentically. She has an incredible eye for detail and a particular way of connecting with her subjects, whether it is a family portrait, a lifestyle shoot or a candid moment, Diana has an uncanny ability to create rapport with her clients, making them feel at ease and capturing their true essence.
Diana's experience working with new models has also been a defining aspect of her career. She guides them, directs them, and helps them discover their unique angles, expressions, and poses. Her patient and encouraging approach allows her to bring out the best in new talent, ensuring they feel safe, confident and comfortable throughout the shoot.
Diana's commitment to her role is evident in her dedication to keeping up with the latest trends. She constantly looks for opportunities to expand her knowledge and skill set by collaborating with other industry professionals to ensure that her work stays fresh and innovative.
DAY ONE
The first day is all about laying a solid foundation and familiarizing participants with the essentials of the modeling industry to embark on their journey. The day begins with introductions and a warm welcome to the participants, followed by an overview of the workshop's objectives and schedule.
1. LEARN ABOUT YOUR CLIENT: Understanding the client's vision is crucial to a successful modeling career. Models must understand the brands and clients they work with to meet their expectations. In this session, participants will gain insight into customer research and understanding, studying brand identity, and adapting their style and presentation accordingly.
2. MODEL ETIQUETTE: Modeling requires a high level of professionalism and proper etiquette. Participants will receive guidance on professional conduct, communication skills, teamwork, and building positive relationships with photographers, designers, and clients. They also learn about the importance of punctuality, reliability, and maintaining a strong work ethic. Models are encouraged to ask questions and seek clarification on the etiquette guidelines.
3. CASTING CALL MAKEUP PREPARATION: Participants will learn the basics of makeup application specifically for casting calls. Walace Style will demonstrate the most efficient technique, focusing on a natural and neutral look that highlight models' unique features while maintaining a versatile look suitable for a variety of modeling opportunities.
4. FACE CONTROL, EMOTIONS, AND BODY LANGUAGE: Modeling is not just about looking good; it's also about expressing emotions and conveying messages through body language. Models will learn how to control their facial expressions, exploring various techniques to convey different emotions and moods through subtle changes in their eyes, mouth, and overall facial muscles. This session enhances their versatility in photo shoots and runway presentations.
Also, models will learn how to exude confidence, grace, and charisma in front of the camera or on the runway, understanding the impact of their posture, gestures, and body movements to effectively evoke the desired emotions for different assignments.
5. UNDERGARMENTS AND THE RIGHT TYPE OF SHOES: Understanding the importance of undergarments and the proper footwear in modeling is essential to improving the fit and aesthetics of your clothing. The workshop includes sessions with expert stylists who will provide insights on choosing the right type of footwear for different occasions, emphasizing comfort, style, and suitability for various outfits.
6. LET US SEE YOUR WALK: The workshop kicks off with an introduction to the fundamentals of a confident and graceful walk, commonly known as a "runway walk." Trainers will guide participants through various techniques and styles, teaching them how to project confidence and poise as they strut down the runway, and receive personalized feedback to improve their walks.
DAY TWO
On the second day, participants put their newfound knowledge into practice through hands-on activities working with professional photographers, stylists, and makeup artists for four different types of photoshoots helping them build a diverse portfolio and a comprehensive comp card. Trainers will provide individualized feedback to help each participant improve their posing, expression, and overall performance in front of the camera.
1. BEAUTY PHOTOSHOOT: Focused on close-ups to emphasize their natural beauty. Participants will work with professional photographers, makeup artists, and hairstylists to create stunning close-ups that highlight their facial features, skin tone, and unique features.
2. LIFESTYLE PHOTOSHOOT: The lifestyle genre teaches participants how to present themselves in everyday scenarios. Participants will learn to exude relatability, engaging with the camera while maintaining a natural and effortless look. These photos convey a sense of authenticity, making them suitable for commercial and editorial work. This session will help models portray narratives through their body language and expressions.
3. FASHION PHOTOSHOOT: This session introduces participants to the world of high fashion. They will learn how to strike dynamic poses, express fluid movements, and capture the essence of the fashion industry while showcasing one-of-a-kind fashion styles and outfits.
4. GLAMOUR PHOTOSHOOT: Participants explore the glamorous side of modeling, embracing their sensuality and capturing captivating images. They will be guided through poses and expressions that exude confidence, charm, and sophistication. These images emphasize the models' ability to evoke emotion and capture attention.
DAY THREE
On the final day, the participants get ready for a unique and intimate fashion show, specially organized for their friends and family. They bring together everything they have learned during the workshop and show off their newly honed skills, confidence, and versatility.
Models will confidently walk the runway in carefully curated outfits, encompassing elements from the beauty, lifestyle, fashion, and glamour shoots showcasing their improved posture, poise, and control over their facial expressions while their friends and family members in attendance witness the participants' growth and applaud their achievements, further boosting their confidence and motivation by creating an encouraging and supportive environment.
1. IN THE MORNING - PREPARATION: Participants spend the morning preparing for the fashion show, working with hair stylists and makeup artists to perfect their runway looks.
2. IN THE AFTERNOON - RUNAWAY TRAINING: A runway coach assists models with refining their runway walk, ensuring they present a cohesive and confident show.
3. IN THE EVENING - SHOW TIME!: As the event unfolds, each participant takes the stage and showcases their individuality and versatility. They walk in various outfits, demonstrating their skills in different modeling styles.
The show is designed to simulate a professional fashion event, giving participants a taste of the industry's energy and excitement plus to experience the thrill and pressure of performing in front of a live audience.
Q&A AND FAREWELL: After the fashion show, there's an interactive Q&A session, where participants share their experiences and insights gained throughout the workshop. Certificates of completion are awarded, and the workshop concludes with a sense of accomplishment and camaraderie among the participants
